Full name :Adewale Oluseyi ADUNOLA

Prof. A. O. Adunola has a Ph.D. in Architecture and has over thirty years experience in architectural education and research. His research area is architectural science. He has several research outputs focused on the following themes: thermal comfort and energy use in urban buildings, passive and active energy in architecture, sustainability in the built environment, building climatology and urban environmental quality. Some of his research works include contextual studies which examined the impact of parameters of thermal comfort in the warm-humid climate and the implications for energy use in buildings. He has also presented intellectual analyses of the multi-dimensional environmental and spatial factors within urban environments with respect to adaptive thermal comfort, ventilation and environmental quality for passive energy utilization and sustainability in urban buildings. He supervises Ph.D, M.Phil. M.Sc. and B.Sc. theses and projects and teaches several courses in the Department of Architecture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The courses include Architectural design studio, Advanced environmental systems, Indoor environmental systems, Seminars in architectural science and technology, Acoustics, Architectural structures, Building design and human performance and Natural and artificial ventilation in buildings
