My body of research demonstrates a consistent and evolving focus on Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), energy performance, and climate-responsive architecture within tropical and warm humid environments. My scholarship is grounded in the intersection of architectural design, human comfort, and environmental performance, particularly within educational and office buildings in Nigeria and comparable tropical regions.Across these works, my research contributes a coherent, empirically grounded framework for understanding and improving the environmental performance of buildings in tropical regions. My scholarship bridges environmental science, occupant behaviour, architectural design, and technology integration, offering practical models and datasets that support both policy development and contextual architectural education, especially in the Global South.
