Dolapo Amole is a Professor of Architecture, and Coordinator of the Executive Masters in Interior Design at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She has been teaching design for over 35 years and in 2019, she started the first university program in Interior Design programme in Nigeria.

Dolapo is a passionate design educator. She has also been involved in curriculum development for many years. She developed the curriculum for Interior Design and was the team leader of the recently revised curriculum in Architecture in the Department. She served on the team of the National Universities Commission (NUC) for developing the curricula of the design disciplines.

Dolapo Amole (Ph.D) also has had a vast experience in Gender Mainstreaming and Grantsmanship.  She is also a seasoned workshop facilitator and has facilitated many workshops in Gender Mainstreaming, Grantsmanship and Monitoring and Evaluation. Dolapo is professionally registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), She is also a member of the Association of Architectural Educators in Nigeria (AARCHES).  She is an Alumnus of HERS, South Africa (a Gender Network in Higher Education), Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and IHS (Institute of Housing Studies, Netherlands). She is a member of the Editorial Board and Reviewer for international and local journals.  She has published over fifty journal articles mostly in the areas of Post-occupancy Evaluation, Students Housing, Health and Housing, Gender and Housing, and Environment-Behaviour.
